Jim Milligan began his career in the insurance industry in 1961. In 1975 Jim founded Milligan & Associates Insurance Agency, Inc. His wife Jean began her insurance career in 1981 and was the owner of her own agency in Wooster, Ohio. In 1998 Jean sold her agency to her daughter and son-in-law and became a partner in Milligan & Associates Insurance Agency, Inc.
