People Helping People - In May 1960 the employees of Wadsworth City Schools in Wadsworth, Ohio founded a credit union dedicated to serving the banking needs of the city's educators. Chartered originally as the Wadsworth Schools Federal Credit Union, the financial institution was renamed the Medina County Schools Federal Credit Union in 1975 as they began serving all of the school systems in Medina County. Today the credit union serves all county residents and employees and has been renamed the Medina County Federal Credit Union. Helping You Look Good - One Stitch at a Time - Nancy Love owned and operated Love's Country Market in Wadsworth, Ohio for twenty years. She purchased a home-style embroidery machine and began to add logos to all types of items which she then offered for sale in her shop. During the Christmas season in 2000, the grueling pace of running her own business began to take its toll, and Nancy closed the shop on February 4th, 2001. By the middle of the June, Nancy's entrepreneurial instincts were surfacing once again.
